Going to the Overnight Shift

Only two more swing shifts after tonight and then I switch to grave shift for the rest of the year. I don’t think I’m looking forward to it, but at least I won’t have to set an alarm clock. That’s one good thing, of a very few good things, about working the grave shift. It’s usually the quietest shift in our dispatch center. That makes it interesting sometimes trying to stay awake. Then, just as you are getting nice and comfortable, an officer goes in pursuit, or someone tries to break into a house.

Switching to grave shift may help me be a bit more active on the blog. At least I am hoping that the reason I haven’t been active the last few months. We’ll certainly see over the next few weeks or so if I can be a bit more active.
