As of 10 minutes ago, it was 69F at Paine Field airport, just a couple of miles from the house. That is 35 degrees cooler than last Wednesday at this time. Let’s hope this continues. Not only are my birds happier, but I am much, much happier when the weather is cooler.
We had a great bird show this past weekend in Kelso. So far in 2009 it was the largest budgie show sanctioned by the
American Budgerigar Society in the US. We had 234 birds entered in the show, including some from California and some from Canada. Again this year, the
Red Lion Hotel and Conference Center in Kelso really went all out to make for an enjoyable experience for all the exhibitors.
